Privacy Policy

ELURE ("we," "our," or "us") operates the ELURE mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID credentials and, optionally, your name and email as permitted by Apple.

Wardrobe Photos: Photos you take or upload of your clothing items are stored securely in our cloud infrastructure. We process these images to remove backgrounds and categorize garments.

Location Data: With your permission, we collect approximate (coarse) location data solely to provide weather-appropriate outfit recommendations. We do not track your precise location.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the app, including outfit preferences, feedback (likes/dislikes), and feature usage to improve our AI recommendations.

Purchase Information: If you subscribe to ELURE Premium, payment is processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not have access to your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain our AI-powered styling service
To generate personalized outfit recommendations based on your wardrobe, weather, and preferences
To process and organize your wardrobe photos
To improve our AI models and recommendation quality
To communicate with you about your account and service updates
To process your subscription

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Wardrobe images are stored in private S3 buckets accessible only via time-limited signed URLs.

Authentication tokens are stored in your device's Secure Enclave via iOS Keychain. We never store passwords in plain text.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

Service Providers: Cloud hosting (AWS), AI processing (Anthropic) — only as necessary to operate the service, under strict data processing agreements
Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data — available via the "Export My Data" feature in app settings
Delete your account and all associated data — available via "Delete Account" in app settings. Deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days
Opt out of location data collection by denying or revoking location permissions
Opt out of push notifications via app or device settings

6. Children's Privacy

ELURE is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

7. Third-Party Links

Our Discover tab may contain links to third-party retail websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
